Description
This opportunity has arisen as a result of the drilling contractors succesful expansion into many new markets. Their steady approach to developing the latest deepwater drilling solutions means that they are able to continue an ongoing recruitment drive for the Gulf of Mexico.
They are looking for a Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) to work on their newly built deepwater semi-submersible rig, currently operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
As DPO, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and location of the rig are maintained through monitoring and operating the Kongsberg DP system.

Additional Requirements
Candidates must have experience working as a DPO on a Semi-submersible rig or a drillship. You will also need to be in posession of an Unlimited STCW95 II/1 certificate, and have worked with Kongsberg DP systems in the past. Candidates who have not worked on drilling rigs before will not be considered for the position. Candidates will also need a GMDSS certificate.
Due to USCG and licensing restrictions, candidates must be US citizens to be eligible for this role.
