The position offers the graduate an ideal opportunity for extensive world-wide travel and an excellent remuneration package including the potential for offshore tax benefits.
To install, support and operate a range of marine navigation, surveying and data processing products for worldwide Oil and Gas Exploration. Independent, fast-learning and self-motivated candidates with strong skills in the support of complex, scientific or engineering computer-based applications in a marine environment are required. Applications are welcome from newly qualified graduates or graduates with up to 3 years work experience. A competitive salary and benefits will be provided.
Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the installation, commissioning and support of complex computer systems and related hardware on marine seismic survey vessels in worldwide locations. Work will involve extended and variable periods away from home and also office-based duties including technical support, training and testing.

A Degree in a numerate discipline such as engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or hydrographic surveying.
Experience:
New Graduates or 1-3 yr experienced candidates welcome.
Skills:
Essential: Unix/Linux, Networking, Data Communications, basic Electrical Engineering.
Desirable: Programming or Scripting experience (e.g. XML, SQL), GPS, Data Radio Systems, Surveying, Navigation or positioning skills.
Behavioral Skills:
Flexible, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self motivated, analytical and thorough.
Ability to work well under pressure within demanding operational environment.
Able to cope with extended and variable periods away from home in harsh environments
