Position: Lead Piping Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager

Requirement:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years experience in LNG/ Refinery/ Petrochemical Process Plant Projects.
• At least 5 years in a lead position. Knowledge of Equipment layout Development, Piping layout, Piping Materials, Piping Stress Analysis and 3D Computer Aided design

Responsibilities on the Job:
•
The overall overview of the EPC contractor’s Piping Team and the high quality and timely completion of their work
• Checking the Client’s standard’s and practices at the beginning of the Project to highlighting any “UNUSUAL REQUIREMENTS”.
• Ensuring that the Contract requirements are implemented through the established job specification, Std. and work instruction prepared by the EPC contractor
• Reviewing with the other Discipline Leaders for all the needs and technical aspect which can affect the schedule of the Project.
• Reviewing with the Engineering Manager all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the job.
• Reminding to all members of the job team to observe the ethics of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Clients or Third Parties.
• Ensuring that all comments are consistent and are included in the drawings according to the applicable procedure.
• Reviewing the EPC contractors the Progress Report related to Piping activities.
• Reviewing and commenting on all piping documentation produced
• Ensuring proper filing of drafting documentation until the Project is completed.
• Attending meeting as requested.
• Assuring that the 3D model (prepared by the EPC contractor) represents satisfactory design, practice, and participating in model review.
• Providing technical assistance to project team to solve possible discrepancies in drawings, specification, etc.
CRYOGENIC PIPING experience is a must
