Our client is experiencing superb growth and repeat contracts and as such has a requirement to recruit 2 Safety Engineers in Aberdeen. The roles will see you working on a wide variety of projects within the Oil and Gas Sector largely in the North Sea but occasionally internationally. These roles will suit candidates with a fairly wide breadth of experience and an aptitude to work at the top end of the market on high value projects. It is likely that you will have in excess of 5 years experience covering Technical Safety, Assessment, Concept Feasibility, Process Safety, Project Appraisal and Selection. The ability to follow international standards is paramount. You will meet with client representatives on occasion to discuss and plan projects and also feedback on progress. Also, there will be a requirement to go offshore on very seldom occasions but it will be expected that you either have or are willing to get your offshore survival certification. In terms of career, that is down to you and your aptitude and desire, there are great prospects to progress to a Principal level.
