Eurosearch & Selection are currently recruiting for an international drilling contractor based in Qatar. Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Senior QA/QC Engineer to join their expanding team As Senior QA/QC Engineer you will control & manage all Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC) activities in engineering disciplines and provide the appropriate advise in line with standards, codes, rules & regulations
Duties will include but not limited to:
• Establishing the company specifications, procedures, and standards as central technical resource for all engineering and maintenance activities
• Establishes and ensure adherence to standard of quality control in a number of maintenance and engineering related areas. includes supervising the establishment and audit of standards in the inspection , ensuring that standards and codes for all maintenance and engineering works are properly observed by review of reports and anther documentation, resolving any problems of materials used in all plant and equipment
• Ensure that project engineering standards comply with quality and integrity requirements and ensures through appropriate processes that quality and integrity requirements are checked and applied at the various stages of new projects.
• Ensure that a comprehensive management of change and anomaly tracking system is implemented.
• Establishing rigs Inspection and certification manual for Hoisting Equipment, Cranes, wire ropes, Drilling Mast/Derrick Structure, Subsurface Drilling Equipment, Pressure Equipment, and Jacking System

Additional Requirements
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will be educated to BSc level in either Mechanical/Electrical/Nuclear or Structural Engineering. You will also have at least 15 years previous experience with at least 5 of those working with a drilling contractor.
