Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Safety Engineer to work with one of the leading Subsea services contractors operating in the world today.
They are looking to recruit an experienced safety professional to work with a loss prevention engineering team on a major EPC project.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
* Developing a risk based approach to HSE design and fire protection
* Designing water and foam systems
* Designing the technical specifications for fire fighting equipment
* Classification of hazardous areas and carrying out HAZID, HAZOP and SIL etc.
* Designing safety systems using FRED and PHAST modelling software
* Technical evaluation of vendor bids.

Additional Requirements
You will be an Engineering graduate, ideally from a Chemical Engineering background, and with a minimum of 10 years experience in loss prevention engineering within an oil and gas design consultancy.
It is essential that candidates have experience in both on and offshore design of the aforementioned systems.
The position will be residential, and an excellent package is available to the right candidate.
